Who writes our content
Content is written by the Five Star Insurance Reviews editorial team. It is general information, not insurance advice, and it is not a substitute for talking to a licensed agent.
How we write reviews
Reviews summarize publicly available information about each carrier’s features. We do not publish unsourced rates, and we don’t promise savings, because your price depends on your own profile.
Editorial ratings
Star ratings are our own judgment on a 5-star scale, based on the features summarized in each review. They are not customer-satisfaction scores or an average of consumer reviews, and they do not predict your experience.
Accuracy and updates
Every review and guide shows an “Updated” date. We review our content at least once a year and whenever we learn of a significant change. Laws, requirements and carrier features change, so confirm details with the carrier or your state’s department of insurance.
