Five Star Insurance Reviews publishes car insurance reviews and guides and helps you request quotes from our partner. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and what choices you have. By using this site, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us. If you ask for quotes or sign up for emails, we collect your email address and ZIP code. If you contact us, we collect what you send us.
Technical information. Our hosting provider and the services we use may log technical information such as your IP address, browser, device, pages viewed and the time of your visit. We do not currently use analytics or advertising trackers of our own. If we add them, we will update this policy.
Cookies. We do not set our own tracking cookies. Third-party services, such as our email signup forms and our quote partner and its affiliate network, may set cookies when you interact with them.
Information you give our partner. When you continue to our partner’s quote form, anything you enter there goes to the partner, not to us, and the partner’s privacy policy applies.

Who we share information with
Our email provider. We use Kit to store your email address and ZIP code and to send our emails. Kit processes this information for us under its own privacy policy.
Our quote partner and its affiliate network. When you click a quote button, you leave our site. The partner and its network may receive information such as your IP address, device and the fact that you came from our site, and may use cookies. Currently, we do not send your email address or ZIP code to the partner. If that changes, we will update this policy.
Service providers. Companies that host our site or help us operate it, who may only use the information to provide their services to us.
Legal and business reasons. We may disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or in a sale or transfer of the business.
We do not sell your email address or ZIP code.
How we make money
We may be paid when you request quotes through our partner, at no cost to you. This is explained in how we make money.
Email choices
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, or by contacting us. We use a confirmation step, so you may be asked to confirm your subscription by email.
How long we keep information
We keep your information while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep a record so we do not email you again, unless you ask us to delete it. We may keep limited information longer when the law requires it.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to receive a copy. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within the time the law requires. We will not treat you unfairly for using these rights.
Our site does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals, because we do not track you across other websites.
Children
Our site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
